ABOUT BIG MAC AND CHEESE

We are Big Mac and Cheese. We are both 16 years old and are both doing GCSEs at Worle school. During our time outside of school we regularly perform in our children’s disco party road-show ”Big Mac and Cheese discos”.  We specialise in children’s disco birthday parties in and around Weston-super-Mare for children aged 5 right up to 13.  We spend time outside of our disco and schooling choosing, selecting and editing music to suit out audience, as we like to keep up to date with the chart music (As do most children!), and we also like to make sure our chosen music is of a non offensive nature (nowadays more and more tracks seem to have bad language in them! – so we like to remove this).

An average Big Mac and Cheese party usually starts about 15 minutes into the start time, as we like to give everyone a quick chance to catch up with each other before the fun begins, our younger party friends usually start with a crazy march , led by Cheese , then some crazy dancing, with both Big Mac and Cheese demonstrating some of the cool moves.  We then like to do a bit of dancing and give out some prizes to some of the best dancers (as well as prizes for all types of random things!!) , then we may play a game or two before everyone settles down for some party food.  Once the food is over we will do a game (usually making use of the chairs – musical chairs anyone?), followed by some more fun and dancing, at this point we usually call the birthday boy or girl up to the front , when it is time to ‘do the birthday cake’ and blow out the candles, this is accompanied by our silly birthday mix for you to all sing along too!

Once we have the birthday cake out the way (this is the point we notice the parents start buzzing around cleaning up) we will play some more crazy games and do some more dancing, including some really CHEESEy classics such as The Fast Food song,  Macerena and more!!

We sometimes supply our own prizes (We always supply our own certificates!!) , but sometimes it is better for the parents to supply the prizes, basically the golden rule is “the more the merrier”, if everyone wins at least once, then everyone is happy!!  If you do make a pass the parcel please make sure the prize can be for a boy or girl… Sometimes when the boys win dolls and the girls win footballs they are not always best pleased!!

We give 100% to every performance, even when we have a couple per day, and truly enjoy our audience, friends and atmosphere, to us its not just a job, its a fun way of getting paid!

We are hoping this year to get involved in some school Christmas parties and our marketing team at Weston Bounce – Bouncy Castle Hire, are working hard to liaise with schools to get us involved in some of your school discos. So we could be seeing you at Christmas !!!
